Books are some of the fundamental sources of primary information. They help us to nurture our talents and formulate various strategies which can enable us to succeed in life. We cannot do without them as they act as our primary sources of reference as well. People are born with different traits which are nurtured by books.
There are very many categories of books which have been written by different authors. They may focus on past scientific research, personal experience or even encourage people to adopt a certain lifestyle. That is, we have self-help, motivational, self-improvement, business and management books just to sample a few. Here are just a few must read business books which can greatly impact on your life.
Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
This is a very popular self-help book. In this book, Mr. Hill tries to define the right formula for success in 13 simple steps. He believes that planning is a key factor for anyone who would wish to succeed. The book highlights some of the best planning ideas which are really crucial for success. It goes ahead to indicate that success doesn’t just depend on planning alone.
Other factors such as selecting people around you also play a major role. For instance, people whom you share with the same goals and objectives, those who’ll always motivate you to keep on trying and encourage you to persevere are really important. They’ll not only empower you to make deci
sions, but to define clear objectives for every single thing that you’re doing.
Mr. Hill goes ahead to reiterate the importance of executing decisions as fast as possible and
discourages any form of delay. He encourages his readers to keep on struggling as nothing comes for free and the belief that the road to success is characterized by both imagination and transformation.
Think and Grow Rich is a good book for anyone who has the desire to succeed. It’s very motivating and the language which has been used is very simple. Check out the full review of this book by clicking here.
The Secret by Rhonda Byrne
This became one of the most selling books in 2006 due to its main theme; the law of attraction. The author, Byrne believes that reality has two main pillars; what we pay attention to and think about. She uses these to explain her law of attraction which she believes is one of the most powerful elements for anyone who would wish to achieve his or her goals. She also goes ahead to give very many examples in an attempt to shed more light on the law of attraction.
The Secret vividly brings it to our attention that it is this law that you can use to know what exactly we want in life, but only if we think, act and speak about it which has always proved to be correct. But how can you get what you neither talk about nor is unknown to you anyway?
With Byrne’s work, you’ll learn to be positive, grateful and love for all that you do. Just like other books such as The 4-Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss, she alludes to several quotes which actually helps to drive this point home.
This is one book which I can recommend to anyone who’s planning to be an entrepreneur as it has a lot of advice.
Talent is Overrated by Geoff Colvin
What’s your talent? Do you really put it into practice? These are some of the very few questions you’ll definitely ask yourself after reading Mr. Colvin’s work. It explores the act of nurturing our talents through practice and demystifies the belief which most people have about those who are excelling in various activities such as in sports that they were primarily born to excel.
There’s one message which comes out distinctively in Talent is Overrated; as long as you don’t put either your talent or ability into practice, you’ll never be a great person. In his book, he highlights various sports persons such as Tiger Woods who has been very successful in playing golf.
Mr. Colvin also admits that the practice is also demanding and tiresome, which is actually true, but, he encourages everyone to go about the process no matter what it costs. But if doing practice was an easy affair, it could also be difficult to reward the best people who dedicate their time to practice. Thus, we have no choice if we want to excel; we must just practice.
Talent is Overrated is such a great book which can surely motivate even the faint-hearted individuals.
Choose Yourself by James Altucher
If there’s one book which really encourages its readers to be optimistic is Choose Yourself. The author believes that all challenges we face in our daily lives have solutions, but this can only be possible if we adopt the practice of enriching our spiritual, emotional and mental life. Mr. Altucher believes that a person must make the right decision on what he or she would wish to do. This makes these books one of the most thought provoking, practical and even fun.
The book highlights some of the best ideas on how someone can choose the kind of life he or she would wish to live and gives a clear guideline on how best he or she can achieve this.
Despite the fact that the book doesn’t have a well-defined structure, being keen to grasp the whole idea behind the author’s work makes it a good book to read and it can definitely change your way of thinking.
The Jetstream of Success by Julian Pencilliah
This is also another self-help book I can recommend to someone who would wish to transform his or her life. It indicates to its readers the importance of being accountable, having the right ideas for success and learning new ideas. These are vital elements for anyone who would wish to be an entrepreneur.
Julian Pencilliah through The Jetsream of Success is determined to help all his readers discover themselves since he believes that it’s the only way an individual can see the essence of transformation. All that he highlights in this book are from his personal experience.
With this book in your library, you can definitely live a quality life more so if you put everything into practice.

Most of these are books are either motivational, self-help or inspirational. They are basically meant to encourage readers more so people who still feel that success is something difficult to come by.
